Following some rather severe server issues, Respawn Entertainment has announced that a brand new Apex Legends update will be deployed today (September 22).

If you've been experiencing some lingering connectivity issues with Apex Legends over the past week or so, the latest patch aims to fix those problems.

Apex Legends Server Stability Issues

Over the past week, Apex Legends has been riddled with server stability issues. The problem has been so out of control that a lot of players around the world haven't even been able to connect to the game.

Respawn Entertainment has been effectively communicating with the community, stating that services were slowly improving.

It started after the previous patch went live for the Collection Event, where players soon started reporting connectivity issues. Respawn Entertainment jumped right on it but has ultimately been battling with the issues ever since.

In a statement released on September 17th, the developers announced that there were still three times the normal rate of disconnect errors. However, things were improving and today's patch should hopefully solve the stability issues in Apex Legends.

Due to these issues, the first ranked split of Season 10 was extended by one week, more details of which can be found at the link below.

As of writing, the official patch notes for the latest Apex Legends update haven't been released just yet. As the update is set to go live at 10AM PT / 6PM BST, Respawn Entertainment will likely release the full details shortly after.
