A brand new update for Apex Legends was deployed today (January 13), bringing the game to version 1.86 with the first client patch of the year and the return of the Rampage and Sentinel weapons.

Although it was only a few days ago that players were treated to the brand new Dark Depths Event, no new bugfixes or adjustments were included. But there's no need to worry as a new client patch has arrived which finally unvaults the Rampage and Sentinel following a recent exploit.

Here's everything you need to know about the January 13 Apex Legends update, including the full patch notes.

Apex Legends Patch Returns Rampage, Sentinel, and MIL-SPEC Skin

On January 6th a new exploit was discovered by Apex Legends players that allowed them to infinitely charge the Rampage and Sentinel, this forced Respawn Entertainment to remove the weapons in every game mode until a fix was deployed.

Alongside this annoying bug, the brand new MIL-SPEC Bangalore Skin went live in the store, but was quickly disabled due to it crashing the game for players as soon as they purchased it. Respawn still allowed players to purchase the skin, but disabled it from being used as to not crash the game.

Thankfully, the January 13 Apex Legends update is now live and fixes both of these issues. Check out the official patch notes further down this article to find out exactly what was fixed.
