Apex Legends Update 1.87 Patch Notes Today (January 27)

A new bug fix update is now live!

January 27, 2022

A brand new bug fix update for Apex Legends was deployed across all supported platforms earlier today (January 27), bringing the game to version 1.87 with a few minor tweaks.

Today’s update is only a small one, so fans shouldn’t expect any new content. However, there is only a little over a week to go until the release of Season 12: Defiance, which will include a brand new legend, limited-time mode, and plenty more.

The very first trailer for the new season was also released earlier today, officially confirming Mad Maggie as the next legend to be joining the Apex games on February 8th.

But there’s still a little over a week to go until the new season, and we’ve got a fresh update on our hands. So, here’s everything you need to know about the January 27 Apex Legends update, including the full patch notes.

What’s New In Today’s Apex Legends Update?

We’re currently still waiting for official confirmation as to what today’s new patch is for. But, according to Apex Legends data miner KralRindo, it’s possible that the patch includes a fix for the treasure pack rewards.

For those that might be unaware, many players have been collecting all of the season treasure packs and have not been granted the set cosmetic rewards afterwards.

Alongside this possible fix, there will likely be some other improvements too. We’ll be updating this article once details arrive, so stay tuned.
