A brand new update for Apex Legends was released for all supported platforms earlier today (February 22), bringing the game to version 1.89 with plenty of bug fixes and improvements.

With the release of Season 12 taking place a few short weeks ago, the update did, unfortunately, include a few bugs and issues that needed to be addressed. Thankfully, with the launch of the new Apex Legends Trello Board, fans can see exactly what issues are being worked on by Respawn.

Apex Legends Update Details For Tuesday, February 22

We're still awaiting the release of the official patch notes, which will be found further down this article once released, but we do know what fixes are likely included in today's update thanks to the Apex Trello Board.

The following issues are reportedly set to be rectified in today's patch:

  • Peacekeeper can shoot 2 times when kinetic feeder hop-up is attached
  • Players do not get the leaver penalty when leaving control games early
  • Control Mode: Friendly Caustic gas can prevent shields from recharging
  • Audio SFX of items being dropped on snow can sometimes be heard from any distance
  • Wraith ultimate disappearing when deployed close to Harvester wall
  • Bugs related to Rampage charging VFX, UI inconsistencies
  • UI Bug: Battle Royale Ranked info screen incorrectly details the bonus points awarded for placements
