Apex Legends received a brand new patch earlier today (Tuesday, June 7), with the update including some further bug fixes following the launch of Season 13 a few weeks ago.

Although the release of Season 13 was an overall success for Respawn Entertainment, it wasn't without the introduction of a few new glitches and bugs. The developers have been keen to stomp out any game ruining issues, with a previous patch being deployed just last week.

There won't be any major changes included in the 1.97 update, but there are some important fixes available to download now across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC. Check out the official patch details for the June 7 Apex Legends update below to find out what was fixed.

Apex Legends Update 1.97 Deployed For Bug Fixes

UPDATE: The official patch notes for the June 7 Apex Legends update have been released, which brings the game to version 1.97 with the following bug fixes and improvements:

  • Improper Ranked rewards: the correct dive trails, holosprays, gun charms, and badges will start rolling out to player throughout the day.
  • IMC Armories: exploits related to clipping through the roof, a mantling bug after teleporting in, and various script errors.
  • Fixing the occasional server-wide thud sound related to Newcastle's ultimate.
  • Resolving next-gen Xbox audio distortion.
  • Various script errors.

ORIGINAL STORY: Respawn Entertainment is expected to share official patch notes shortly, as the update was only deployed at 10AM PT / 6PM BST. However, thanks to the official Apex Legends Trello board, we do know what fixes are expected to be included in today's update.

Although the developers are working on a large number of bug fixes for Apex Legends, the following issues are reportedly set to arrive in a future patch:

  • Audio - Players are reporting echo-y/strange audio unless Console audio is set to "stereo uncompressed"
  • Predator Ranks getting incorrect rewards
  • Loba's tactical fails on certain Storm Point terrain

These issues are available to view on the Apex Legends Trello board and are currently marked with "coming in a future patch". Fans can likely expect some, if not all, of the issues listed above to be rectified in today's patch. However, we will be updating this article with the official patch notes and list of fixes as soon as they are made available by Respawn Entertainment, so make sure to check back in soon.
