Apex Legends Gets Locked and Loaded Mode Back in the Anniversary Collection Event
As of February 9, Apex Legends hosts some limited-time skins and modes, including Locked and Loaded.
We are not far away from the second anniversary of Apex Legends and Respawn Entertainment is preparing a new limited-time event for celebration, launching on February 9. Expect the return of Apex Locked and Loaded mode along with some new skins all having an iconic Red & Gold design.
For the second anniversary of Apex Legends, you are not going to get anything new compared to the last year’s anniversary event. Apex Locked and Loaded mode will be back again with the same rules and features. In this mode, all players start the match with a Level 1 Mozambique, some health items, a White Backpack, and a White Evo Shield. However, the biggest difference is you drop into the map with already a weapon in hand, which makes the engagements happen earlier than ordinary matches. The mode will be available until February 23, when the event is over.
Aside from Apex Locked and Loaded, you will have a Prize Tracked with two Epic packs, 10 Apex Packs, and a total of 22 items. When it comes to skins and cosmetics, Respawn will bring 24 fan-favorite skins from all of the Apex Legends seasons so far in the new color theme of red and gold.
Completing all the Anniversary Collection Event 2021 will grant 150 Heirloom Shards, and given that all crafting costs will be reduced by 50%, you will have a good opportunity to get what you want. The store will be refreshed by new bundles including the Blood Moon bundle, the Hunt and Red bundle, the Pure Fire bundle, and more.
Apex Legends is now available on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version of the game is set to be launched on February 9, along with the opening of the Anniversary Collection event.
