Today, Compile Heart announced via their official site that Arc of Alchemist, the newest PS4 game in the studio's Galapagos RPG brand, has been delayed.

The game was scheduled to release in Japan on November 29th. It will now release two months later, on February 7th.

By far, this isn't the first time Compile Heart delays one of its games. The studio was probably too busy with Varnir of the Dragon Star, another Galapagos RPG brand game, coming out on October 11th in Japan.

Arc of Alchemist is an action RPG with a focus on elements, featuring art from Final Fantasy's Yoshitaka Amano. You can read about the game's story and its world here, and watch the first gameplay trailer. A trailer focusing on the battle system was also released a few days ago.

Arc of Alchemist has no western release announced yet but should come over, as nowadays, most Compile Heart games get translated by Idea Factory International.
