Arcade Classic Gradius II Coming to PS4 in North America Next Week

If you’re in for some classic arcade action, the PS4 is going to provide next week with Gradius II, that will launch on the console in North America as part as the Arcade Archives on July 15th.

Originally released by Konami in 1988, it was then ported to NES, Sega Saturn, PC Engine and more. Here’s a description from the Asian PlayStation Store, where the game was released back in April.

GRADIUS II’ is a shooting game released by KONAMI in 1988.
Players will control the super dimension fighter ‘Vic Viper’ in order to protect planet Gradius from the Gofer special forces.
This is the best title from the GRADIUS series and a title of fame in the shooting game history having won multiple awards!
This product includes 3 Japanese versions, and the 2 oversea versions with ‘VULCAN VENTURE.’

Players can share play screens and video with the SHARE feature, and can also compete with other players online to improve your standing on the online score ranking leaderboard.
