Skydance Interactive announced that its upcoming virtual reality game, Archangel: Hellfire, will be coming to Oculus and HTC Vive on July 17.

Archangel: Hellfire is a virtual reality title that allows players to hop into one of three mech types and duke it out in a competitive 2v2 Team Deathmatch mode or a cooperative mode where you’ll fight off a plethora of enemies. For those who may prefer to play by themselves can partake in the game’s single-player campaign mode.

As mentioned at the conference, the developers at Skydance Interactive had changed things up since the original game’s release last year, one of those being that it will no longer be on-rails.Ar

Those who currently own the original Archangel can hop into the upcoming game themselves with Archangel: Hellfire‘s Early Access Battle Training in its 2v2 Team Deathmatch mode on two maps: Genesis Facility and Collins Base.

If you’re unfamiliar with Archangel, the original game is out right now Oculus, HTC Vive, and PlayStation 4.
