Today Square Enix released a batch of screenshots and a video about the previously announced collaboration between Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and popular singer and actress Ariana Grande, that will lend her likeness to a character in the game.

As part of the collaboration, Ariana Grande's song "Touch It" as been arranged and orchestrated in the style of the game, and you can hear how in the video at the bottom of the post, on top of a brief glimpse on the new character (named "Dangerous Ariana") in action at the three minutes mark.

The singer also shared a message, mentioning that it's an honor for her to be included in the game, and her appreciation for Japanese pop culture.

"It's an honor for my Pixel Art character and for my music to be included in the new Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius game, a mainstay in the Japanese pop culture, which I absolutely adore."

More details about this event, which will run for only a limited time, have been promised for mid-January.

The press release also shared that the game has surpassed nine million downloads outside of Japan. In order to celebrate the milestone, daily log-in bonuses will be significantly boosted for a limited time.
