ARK Aberration Release Date Announced; Base Game Currently On Sale
ARK: Survival Evolved - Aberration is set to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on December 12, 2017, and will include a ton of new content.
Ever since ARK: Survival Evolved – Aberration was announced back in early September, fans of the game have been curious as to when they would be able to get their hands on the upcoming expansion. Well, now we have an answer, as developer Studio Wildcard has officially announced that the expansion will be arriving on December 12, 2017.
Aberration is the second expansion for the open-world survival game, and it includes a ton of goodies, including some new creatures like the Rock Drake and Lantern Pug, new pieces of gear like wingsuits and ziplines, as well as new environmental challenges like earthquakes and gas leaks.
Aberration will be available for $19.99; however, season pass owners will receive access to the expansion completely free of additional charge.
In addition to the announcement of the release date, it was also revealed that the base game will be 50% off on Steam, 25% off on Xbox One, and 35% off on PlayStation 4 this weekend.
In other ARK: Survival Evolved news, two weeks ago the Creative Director of the game said in an interview with DualShockers that, in his opinion, the game “needs to have a sequel at some point.” You can check out the full interview here.
Ark: Survival Evolved was originally released on August 29, 2017, and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
