Ark: Survival Evolved Servers Down (June 7)

For those attempting to jump into Ark: Survival Evolved on Xbox today (June 7), you may have noticed that the servers are currently down. A specific reason for the outage hasn't been given by the Ark team, but a developer has since responded to the situation.

According to Dollie, the product manager at Ark: Survival Evolved, the team are "Investigating the Xbox server situation with our engineers and host".

It seems as though these issues are only affecting those on Xbox, but it's possible that the outage may be affecting other platforms too. If you're currently having servers issues when connecting to Ark: Survival Evolved, the issue is likely related.

Unfortunately, no time span was given by the team as to how long the servers will be down, but they are investigating as we speak.

We don't expect the servers to be down for too much longer, keep your eye on the official Ark: Survival Evolved Twitter account to keep up to date with the latest news.

Ark Genesis Part 2

Although it's bad news that the Ark: Survival Evolved servers are down for Xbox users, it's likely due to the high influx of people that are jumping on to play the brand new DLC, Genesis 2.

Ark: Genesis 2 will be the final piece of DLC for Ark: Survival Evolved as the developers begin focusing their attention towards the anticipated sequel, Ark 2.
