The new year is almost upon us, but there's still one more treat in store for Ark: Survival Evolved players as the 2022 New Year Event is only a few hours away.
Studio Wildcard will be giving away plenty of free gifts as well as a firework extravaganza to end the year, which means you won't want to miss the Ark New Years Event.

Ark: Survival Evolved New Years Event 2022 Release Time
According to the latest Community Crunch post by Studio Wildcard, the Ark: Survival Evolved New Years Event will begin at MIDNIGHT EST on January 1st, 2022.
The event will trigger a second time at NOON EST on January 1st, 2022, but can also be triggered manually. Full details on how to play and manually trigger the event can be found further down this article.

How To Play The Ark New Years Event
The Ark 2022 New Years Event will see servers bombarded with a plethora of gifts as a way to mark the end of 2021. According to the developers, the gifts will include a collection of everyone's favourite skins from past events and a mixture of rare, very rare, and legendary Chibis!
The event will be triggered automatically on official servers, but for those on unofficial servers, simply enter the following command line parameters: -NewYearEvent.
Studio Wildcard has also stated that the time of the event can be altered by using the following command line parameters:
- ?NewYear1UTC=1640995200
- ?NewYear2UTC=1641038400
