Ark: Survival Evolved Launch New PvP ‘Conquest’ Servers on PC; Consoles Coming Soon

Studio Wildcard will launch a new Official PvP server for ARK: Survival Evolved called 'Conquest' which is available on PC September 28

Today, developer and publisher Studio Wildcard announced that they will launch a new array of official PvP servers for ARK: Survival Evolved. The ‘Conquest’ servers will allow players the ability to battle with up to 100 Ark enthusiasts per server and give players some good reasons to play on Conquest with their 2X rates of taming, gathering, and experience, thus giving a lot more time to concentrate on battling other tribes.

With so many titles coming into our gaming lives, you may have missed what Ark: Survival Evolved is all about, so here’s a quick rundown:

You, the player, find yourself marooned on an island. To survive you must hunt, craft, build, and research in order to stay alive. If that wasn’t enough, you also have to contend with deadly animals and enemies that are scattered around the island. There is a plus side though, riding dinosaurs! Once you master how to tame and train them first, of course.

In June, Studio Wildcard released an in-game event called ARKaeology which gave players the opportunity to earn some new cosmetic items that included a Brachiosaurus costume and a Styracosaurus costume.

The Conquest Servers will be available on Steam September 28, but Xbox One and PS4 players will have to wait a little longer unfortunately with no set date as yet for console release.
