Unfortunately, it appears that following the release of today's new patch, the Ark: Survival Evolved servers on PlayStation Network are experiencing a severe outage. The developers are working on the issue as we speak in hopes to restore services as soon as possible.

What's New In Today's Ark 2.73 Update?

UPDATE: It appears the server issues with Ark: Survival Evolved has been resolved.

ORIGINAL STORY: The latest Ark: Survival Evolved update was deployed for consoles earlier today, with the patch reportedly coming in at 16GB on PlayStation consoles.

Fans shouldn't expect any new content included in today's update, as it's looking likely that the patch was simply for some routine bug fixes and quality of life improvements.

According to one user on the official Ark: Survival Evolved forum, today's patch has rectified some texture issues with dinosaurs and will likely fix a few other bugs and glitches.

However, as mentioned previously, PlayStation Network users are currently unable to play due to some server issues at Studio Wildcard. The official Ark Twitter account released the following statement on the issue:
