Today Nintendo held a Switch hands-on event at the popular Tokyo Big Sight venue in Japan's capital, and they showcased a whole lot of gameplay of the upcoming fighting game ARMS.

As a matter of fact, Arms was by a long shot the most showcased game of the event, and considering the prominence given to it in basically every event organized to promote the Switch, we can guess that Nintendo probably considers it a very good way to showcase the capabilities of the console.

The gameplay was scattered across the whole five hour-long livestream, showcasing a local talent as she trained to beat the mysterious "ARMS Lady" in a revenge match following her initial disastrous defeat, only to face the even stronger "ARMS Boy" at the end. Yeah, Nintendo can be a little weird at times, but this gets us a lot of footage, so what's not to love?

Of course, below you can see just the gameplay. We'll save you the cheesy "Tsubaki vs ARMS Lady" banter.

If you want to see more about the game (even if there is a whole lot below), you can check out the announcement trailer, and another twenty minutes of gameplay.

ARMS will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch this Spring.
