Today Nintedo announced a new update coming for its original fighting game ARMS.

The upcoming update was showcased with a new trailer released by Nintendo of Europe, which shows the acquisition of badges working basically like achievements, and a rather intriguing tease at the end.

We see a character that looks like spring man, but he has a definitely more evil slant, with glowing eyes and surrounded by a menacing aura of flames. At the moment we don’t know what this is about, but we’ll probably learn about it very soon.

The update is slated for release later this month.

You can check out the trailer below. The previous update, 3.1, was released in September, while a new character named Lola Pop was revealed in August during Gamescom.

ARMS is currently available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, you should definitely read our review, and see how Nintendo’s original fighting game performed under Ryan’s watchful eye.
