Army of the Dead Prequel: New Teaser Visual For 'Army of Thieves' Revealed
Don't expect too much zombie-action from the movie.
Army of Thieves, directed by Matthias Schweighöfer, is the upcoming prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead. Unlike the first movie, the prequel will focus on Ludwig Dieter’s early days of safecracking.
Following the success of Army of the Dead on Netflix, everyone is waiting for the prequel to come out. Netflix confirmed that the movie would release in 2021′ however, we still don’t have an exact release date.
Anyway, to tease Army of Thieves, Netflix recently released a teaser visual for the movie. Interestingly, the official poster gives us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming film.

Army of Thieves Official Poster Revealed
Matthias Schweighöfer, director of ‘Army of Thieves,’ who is also taking back his role of Ludwig Dieter, released the new poster on his official Twitter handle.
Interestingly, the new poster says, “More Safes. Less Zombies.” So, it’s clear that the prequel will deep dive into how Dieter found his love for safecracking. Also, we won’t see that many zombies, making the movie completely different from Army of the Dead.

Along with the new poster, Netflix also confirmed that Army of Thieves would get an exclusive Comic-Con panel. The panel will take place on Sunday, July 25th, 2021, at 2 PM PDT (Pacific timing). So, mark that date in your calendar if you want to learn more about the prequel.
It’s too soon to predict what movie details will be revealed at the panel. However, fans expect to see a short trailer for Army of Thieves along with an official release date. Well, we’ll get to know what Netflix has in store for us at the panel very soon.
