Army of Two: The 40th Day Now 40 Bucks

The hardcore, steroid-injecting, big-gun packing team from Army of Two: The 40th Day – Elliot Salem and Tyson Rios – can now become part of your lives for a much more appeasing price tag. Rather than charging Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners the regular price of $59.99, Amazon’s Video Game of the Day sale takes the two co-op extensive mercenaries and plops them on your door, metaphorically of course, for a much niftier looking price tag of $39.99 for today only.

While the price does still seem a bit on the elevated side, I cannot help but force myself to kind of wait (as most of you probably are as well) for the dollar value of the game to drop a tad more… indefinitely. Joel’s review was great and did provide some pros that did seem appealing, but the overall review, and my experience with the first one, makes me shy away from paying the current price. Good game, as per the reviews. But not my cup of tea yet. But, if you’re looking for something to play with a good friend of yours, this is definitely something you should pick up. Nothing says “I love you” like taking a bullet to the face for a good ol’ friend.
