Today, Illfonic announced the newest content coming to the asymmetric multiplayer game, Predator: Hunting Grounds. The upcoming free update and paid DLC will revolve around Dutch, the character Arnold Schwarzenegger portrayed in the original 1987 Predator film.

The free update will be in the form of voice tapes which will flesh out what Dutch has been up to since the original film. It will also reveal why he is back to take out the Predator once again. These tapes can be earned as you level up.

The paid DLC will unlock Dutch as a playable character, and give you early access to the QR5 "Hammerhead" Rifle and Dutch's Knife. The weapons will be available for free for all players in June. Both the free and paid DLC will be available on May 26.

In case you were wondering (I know I was), yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be lending his voice and likeness to Predator: Hunting Grounds' Dutch. In a PlayStation Blog post by Jared Gerritzen, chief creative officer at Illfonic, he discussed his excitement for Schwarzenegger reprising his iconic role for the game.

"We are bringing Dutch to Predator: Hunting Grounds. Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger has reprised one of my favorite roles from childhood for this game. The game that IllFonic has developed out of a love for the ’87 Predator," says Gerritzen. "To say my inner child cannot be contained is putting it mildly. Yes, I got to meet him, and yes, I think I kept my cool. We got to spend a day in sunny California recording with Arnold. And before you ask, Arnold truly is one of the nicest people I have met in my lifetime."

This is not the only DLC coming to Predator: Hunting Grounds. There are already plans for free updates and paid DLC up until August, with more planned past that.

You can play Predator: Hunting Grounds right now for PS4 and PC.
