What a wonderful piece of news to wake up to this morning! In less than two short weeks, GameStop will no longer be accepting anything GameCube related (systems, games, or accessories) for trade-ins. They will still be selling such items, at least until stock runs out.

Granted, considering used GameCubes go for $30 at the retailer, you probably weren't getting very much in trade-in value anyway. I mean, the fact that the used price of a copy of Twilight Princess for the system is more expensive than the system itself should be telling. It should also be telling that we don't even have a GameCube tag on our site, as I just found out.

Regardless, as someone who very much loves her Gamecube and plays it a lot when home, this news makes me sad. So if you've got any used Gamecube games you want to get rid of after April, well. You know where to find me.
