After launching on Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store last year, Annapurna Interactive today announced that Ashen is slated to land on other platforms later this year.

Announced via a new accolades trailer today, Annapurna and developer A44 revealed that Ashen is now slated to land on PS4 and Switch at the end of the year on December 9. In addition, it will also now be coming to Steam on PC. Ashen originally launched on the Epic Games Store last year for PC users, but that exclusivity window will now be coming to an end.

If you're unfamiliar with Ashen, it is a Soulslike game that boasts a unique, sometimes vibrant color palette. Annapurna describes the game as one "about forging relationships" with other characters that you may come across on your journey.

We wrote about Ashen earlier this year and talked about how it compares to Dark Souls directly, the game it is clearly drawing much inspiration from. We came to the conclusion that it can't match up to the former in many regards, but didn't discredit it entirely. If you haven't tried it out for yourself yet, perhaps you'll find more enjoyment in it than we did.

Below you can check out the latest trailer talking about Ashen's arrival on PS4, Switch, and Steam later this year. For now, it's available on Xbox One and PC if you'd rather jump in immediately.
