Coming from developer A44 and publisher Annapurna Interactive, Ashen (since its initial reveal) will take players through a Dark Souls-esque experience with a rich design and art direction, and it appears that the game is about to release very, very shortly.

The launch trailer for Ashen -- which presumably was going to air during tonight's broadcast of The Game Awards 2018 -- had arrived a bit early on Xbox's YouTube channel and revealed that the game seems to be bound for launch tonight during the show, with the trailer signaling that the game was "available now."

While the trailer itself has been taken down from Xbox's official YouTube account, we won't have to wait too much longer to see the full trailer as The Game Awards will air later tonight. However, given that Ashen has been in development for a few years, it's at least worth noting that the game is on its way to release very soon, and likely as part of Microsoft's "Winter of Arcade" line of indie titles.

Ashen is on track for Xbox One and PC, and as it seems from the launch trailer, it appears that the long-awaited game will be in players' hands tonight during The Game Awards.
