Genshin Impact just published its usual profile tweet for upcoming characters, this time featuring Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn as she will be added as a collab character - her English voice actress was also re-confirmed to be Ashly Burch.

Ashly Burch voiced Aloy in the original Horizon Zero Dawn and she will be reprising her role in Genshin Impact. Aloy will be added with the release of Version 2.1 for PS4 and PS5 players on September 1. She's a free 5-star Cryo and Bow user.

Iconic anime, game roles from Ashly Burch, the voice of Aloy

One of Ashly Burch's first game roles was Rei (Niko) in Persona Q Shadow of Labyrinth (2014). She's an original character specifically made for the game and primordial to its story. While Persona Q isn't fully voiced, those who played it with English voiceovers definitely remember Burch's performance.

Another one of Ashly Burch's most iconic characters is obviously Chloe, one of the protagonists of Life is Strange. This is definitely the role where most people discovered Burch's voice. Life is Strange is a story-driven experience and a typical Adventure game in the Japanese sense of the word, and part of why I've always wanted to try it out myself if time permits one day. It's definitely a series to keep on your radar.

Next, Ashly Burch was also the voice of Millium Orion in the first two The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel games. Which are technically the 6th and 7th games of the Trails/Kiseki series, these were the start of the Erebonia arc, a major part of the character-driven and geopolitical Trails series ongoing for 16 years now.

In anime series English dubs, Burch was most notably the voice of Mayuri Shiina in Steins;Gate, and Sasha Braus in Attack on Titan. Be sure to give Ashly Burch a follow on Twitter and support her.
