Ubisoft has confirmed the existence of Assassin’s Creed Anthology; what appears to be a definitive collection of all things Assassin’s Creed. Ubisoft told Eurogamer that full details regarding the collection will be revealed later this week.

Evidence of the existence of Assassin’s Creed Anthology appeared via a product listing on Amazon’s French website. The anthology will include Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Assassin’s Creed III and all of their additional content; plus five lithographs, one for each game.

This appears to be the ultimate collection for Assassin’s Creed enthusiasts wanting to experience every piece of content the franchise has to offer.

This news just happens to coincide with the release of Mass Effect Trilogy in North America which was criticized for not offering a truly ‘complete’ edition, featuring all the franchise’s DLC. EA and BioWare could arguably learn a thing or two from Ubisoft if Assassin’s Creed Anthology is really the all-encompassing anthology it purports to be.

We’ll know more later this week, so stay tuned.
