Ubisoft Reveals Details Regarding Assassin's Creed Anthology

Yesterday, evidence of an Assassin’s Creed Anthology surfaced via Amazon’s French website which was quickly followed by a statement from Ubisoft confirming that the anthology edition was in-fact real.

Today, Ubisoft answered some questions regarding the anthology edition but alas, let others remain a mystery.

Let’s start with what we do know. Assassin’s Creed Anthology will include Assassin’s CreedAssassin’s Creed IIAssassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (The Da Vinci Edition), Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (The Ottoman Edition) and the most recent Assassin’s Creed III. The collection will also include all of the expansion packs and DLC for the Assassin’s Creed games, as well as the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass, which allows full access to all forthcoming downloadable content for the game.

Assassin’s Creed Anthology will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 exclusively through Amazon in Europe from November 29th for €150, and the UK from November 30th for £119.99.

This is where the unanswered questions begin. Ubisoft has not mentioned any plans regarding a PC version or plans to release the anthology edition anywhere other than Europe. If I had to bet on one of these two things occurring in the future, my money would be on the collection appearing in North America long before we ever see a PC version.

Nonetheless, it’s great to see a collection like this, which will surely please fans looking to soak up portions of the franchise they have missed or for those looking to delve into the Assassin’s Creed saga for the first time.

BioWare/EA, take note.
