Assassin's Creed Facebook Companion Title in the Works
In an effort to help those who are interested in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood develop a relationship with the title, Ubisoft is planning to release a Facebook game to help establish these bonds. Starting October 1, 2010 people will be able to play Assassin’s Creed: Project Legacy, people will be able to unlock content and bonuses for the Brotherhood and vice versa.

These two games are a part of the company’s “Companion Gaming” initiative, which is to help give players mulitple points of entry for the game world or property. Digital Strategy VP Chris Early told Gamasutra, “I want my play to matter wherever I am,” acknowledging that, in this early stage of implementation, Companion Gaming is “very simple, one way, direct, one time.”

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is scheduled for a November 16, 2010 release.

Being a gamer since the age of 6 (thanks to my parents), a desire to pursue a career in the gaming industry has been my passion ever since I laid my hands on Sonic the Hedgehog. Some of my favorite games include Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, Duke Nukem 3D, Final Fantasy 6, Killer7 and both the Devil May Cry and Resident Evil series.
