During an investor’s call this morning, Ubisoft announced the Assassin’s Creed III will be released on October 30 of this year.
Considering Revelations isn’t even three months out of the gate and the series traditionally releases its games in November, this is pretty big. The game has supposedly been in development for three years, with Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot promising that the title will be “the biggest launch in Ubisoft history.”
So far all we know is that Ezio de Auditore will replaced by a new protagonist. Current rumors suggest that the game will be taken to a different era, the most popular theory being the American Revolution.
