Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has received plenty of DLC and support since the game's launch in October (and subsequent release on next-gen consoles in November), and including plenty of patches and updates since then to fix various bugs and glitches.

Most recently, the PS4 version of the game has received a new patch (fairly substantial at 2.3GB) that seems to address many bugs and issues found in the game's single-player campaign.

A screenshot of patch notes taken by Twitter user Wario64 shows that the patch fixes a known bug where the game would have connection issues with Ubisoft's servers if a player had over 100 friends on their Friends List. In addition, the patch also corrects many instances of crashing and freezes, while also tweaking in-game combat balance slightly and in-game rewards that previously would not appear.

The single player patch for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag comes ahead of the Title Update 4 multiplayer patch, which arrives on February 11th, 2014.
