Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has been well-received for its fresh take on the Assassin’s Creed series, but its upcoming single-player DLC may just be one of the boldest, most unique entries of the series yet.

Ahead of the launch for Assassin’s Creed IV: Freedom Cry, where players take on the role of Adewale, a former slave-turned-Assassin, as he combats slavery well after the events of Black Flag, the official Assassin’s Creed UK YouTube channel has published the launch trailer for the upcoming DLC.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Freedom Cry will be released tomorrow, December 18th, for all platforms: Xbox One, PS4, PC, Wii U, PS3, and Xbox 360.
