Assassin’s Creed IV Gets Underwater and Harpooning Gameplay Videos

on August 5, 2013 8:04 PM

A pair of lovely new game-play videos for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag have been released. The first video showcases the game’s underwater game-play. While underwater, players can explore and discover treasures and other goodies, but are defenseless and must be wary of being attacked by any number of swimming predators, such as sharks, rays and the like.

The harpoon video shows how players can kill sharks from above the water. Players will have access to a limited number of harpoons and there will be as many as six different kinds of poor marine animals to slay. Killing the fishies gives you materials that you can use to craft items, which would be pretty cool if it didn’t seem so darn barbaric. Check out both of these videos below.

Assassin’s Creed IV will be available in October.
