Ahead of the Ubisoft Forward showcase later today, new images of Assassin's Creed Mirage have been leaked. The new key art images give a greater look at the main protagonist of the game, Basim.Assassin's Creed Mirage has been at the forefront of Ubisoft leaks in recent weeks, with the game's full description also being leaked a few days ago. According to the leak, Mirage will follow the story of Basim, a cunning street thief seeking answers and justice as he navigates the bustling streets of ninth-century Baghdad.Following the countless leaks, the official Twitter account of Assassin's Creed confirmed the existence of Mirage, stating that it would be "the next Assassin's Creed game". Ubisoft also confirmed that more details would be showcased during the Ubisoft Forward event on September 10th.RELATED: Microsoft To Release New Xbox UI Design In 2023The images, which can be seen below, were leaked from a Twitter account known as ScriptLeaksR6. One of the pieces of key art features the new logo for Mirage, whilst the second image shows Basim hidden behind a wall with two weapons at the ready.

More details on Assassin's Creed Mirage will be showcased later today during the Ubisoft Forward event, which kicks off at 12PM PT / 3PM ET / 9PM CEST. It's not just Assassin's Creed that will take the spotlight though, as Ubisoft confirms numerous other titles will be making an appearance during the showcase.
