Starting today and lasting through the remainder of the week, Ubisoft has made it a little bit cheaper for those who are looking to get in on the action of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's DLC.

Starting today for those on Xbox One and PC, the first chapter of The Fate of Atlantis add-on for Assassin's Creed Odyssey has been made free. This chapter, called Field of Elysium, introduces players to the new branching story arc that centers around the mythical city of Atlantis. PS4 players will be able to download the chapter for free starting tomorrow on August 27. Fields of Elysium as a whole will be free up until September 1.

In addition to making the first chapter of The Fate of Atlantis free, Ubisoft has also drastically marked down the cost of the season pass for AC Odyssey as well. Starting tomorrow and then lasting through September 1, the season pass will be set to 50% of its usual price. This means that you can get the entirety of the Atlantis add-on in addition to the game's other add-on called Legacy of the First Blade. You'll also net yourself Assassin's Creed III Remastered as well, as this is part of the season pass content for Odyssey.

All in all, this is a pretty solid deal, especially if you've been looking for more to do in Odyssey. Personally, I've actually been meaning to jump back into the game for quite some time, and this might actually get me to pull the trigger. Odyssey is still one of my favorites from last year and I'd love to spend more time in that world.
