As the latest entry in the long-running series, Assassin's Creed Odyssey earned high marks when it released back in October for bringing players into the biggest, most expansive, and detailed world that the series has ever seen yet. If you haven't been able to get enough of your time in Ancient Greece, don't worry: you'll be able to revisit it again with the upcoming New Game Plus mode coming in the near future.Ubisoft has confirmed that New Game Plus will be coming to Assassin's Creed Odyssey later this month, which (presumably) will give players the ability to start a new game that carries over their progression from first playing the game on a harder difficulty. While an exact release date hasn't been revealed by Ubisoft just yet, the company followed up in a subsequent tweet that more details on New Game Plus will be revealed next week, indicating that we probably won't have to wait too much longer to hear when players can hop back into the game once again.Given the huge wealth of content that Assassin's Creed Odyssey initially offered when it first released, New Game Plus should provide an enticing option for players that want to experience what the game has to offer all over again with some form of rewards or new content.Outside of New Game Plus, Assassin's Creed Odyssey has also been releasing new installments in its Legacy of the First Blade, with the most recent installment being the DLC's second episode that released last month. However, the DLC notably received backlash for the depiction of its main characters and the relationships they formed, with Ubisoft acknowledging the issues with the story's direction and aiming to provide changes in both the second and third episodes.Assassin's Creed Odyssey is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you want to start your adventures in Ancient Greece with Alexios and Kassandra, you can pick up the game on Amazon right now.
