In honor of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's one year anniversary, Ubisoft has announced a new patch, new epic encounters, and some impressive stats.

Later this month, the game will receive patch v1.51, its final patch which will include bug fixes. Ubisoft states they'll announce more details about the patch leading up to its release.

New epic encounters will be coming to the game from now until November 4. Players will get to face off against opponents such as Occylos the Successor, Delos, Aretos the Aid, Black Wind, and Nester the Great. Additionally, Ubisoft will be granting more Orichalcum and defeating epic ships or mercenaries will give players 15 Orichalcum. Another addition added to the game includes a new mount called Melania which will come to the in-game store later this month.

Ubisoft also shared some community achievements in honor of the game's anniversary. Overall, players have taken over 48 million photos, sent over 20 billion enemies to hades, and have spent over 645 million hours playing the game. Additionally, players have dismantled over 107 billion weapons and have seen Ancient Greece through Ikaros for over 1.25 million hours. Having played the game for over 50 hours, I'm excited to jump back in the game and explore Ancient Greece again.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
