Ubisoft has been implementing a series of free in-game events for Assassin's Creed Origins titled Trials of the Gods.

While the first trial pitched Bayek against the iconic dog-faced god Anubis, this time around we get a slightly more obscure deity with Sobek, the crocodile-faced god of water and fertility. Why would you associate fertility with a crocodile you ask? Simply because the ultimate form of fertility in ancient Egypt was the river Nile.

The trial starts today and will be available for a week until November 28th. If you want to see what Sobek looks like, the publisher also released a brief trailer showing the giant croc in action. He certainly doesn't look like he enjoys being shot at.

You can check out the trailer below. If you want to learn more about the game, you can enjoy our reviewwatch our video review, or read our article about the latest patch to support Xbox One X. You can also cwatch the first thirty minutes of gameplay on Xbox One X, and a batch of tutorial videos directly from the developers.
