If you, like me, have been teabagging Templars since midnight, you are probably already familiar with the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations online pass. Copies of the game come with a UPlay Passport code, which must be activated in order to access multiplayer mode and the exclusive character The Sentinel.
Multiplayer modes include: Wanted Mode, in which each player is given another player as a target; Artifact Assault Mode, similar to capture-the-flag; Manhunt, a ten minute game in which two teams hunt one another; Deathmatch (self-explanatory); Corruption, in which players myst survive as long as possible without being “corrupted,” and once you are corrupted you must kill your targets as quickly as possible to spread the “corruption”; Steal the Artifact, also self explanatory; Assassinate, a free-for-all in which players must differentiate between NPCs and other online players; Chest Capture, in which players form teams and scramble to capture chests; and Training Ground, a non-competitive mode that allows players to explore the world map and practice abilities. These modes are only accessible using the UPlay Passport and must be paid for if you don’t have a code.
The exclusive character The Sentinel, named Vali cel Tradat, is a Wallachian nobleman and former member of the Assassin brotherhood.
Keep an eye out for our review of the game as it gets the good ol’ Dualshockers treatment — by yours truly!
