We're at that point in time where we're starting to see a lot of the games releasing for next-gen consoles in the coming months beginning to be finalized. That trend has once again continued today, with principle work on Ubisoft's biggest game of the year now being complete.Ubisoft took to social media today to announce that Assassin's Creed Valhalla has now officially gone gold. If you're still somehow unfamiliar with what this means, essentially, the initial work on Valhalla has now been wrapped up and the game can begin being printed to discs and shipped out around the globe. "On behalf of everyone working on the game, we can't wait to see how your own Viking saga unfolds," Ubisoft said in an accompanying tweet alongside the announcement.

Based on what we have seen of Assassin's Creed Valhalla so far, it seems like the game is worth getting excited about. Our own Cameron Hawkins previewed Valhalla earlier this week and said that the latest entry in the series felt like it was building upon some of the best elements from the franchise's long history. You can read his full thoughts on his 6-hour demo that he experienced right here.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is set to arrive next month on November 10 for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Stadia. It will then be released two days later alongside the PS5 on November 12. For more on the game, be sure to also check out our recent interview with producer Julien Laferriere.
