A brand new title update for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be deployed later today (January 6), bringing the game to version 1.4.1.2 with an important bug fix.

The update will be deployed to all supported platforms but will reportedly only include one fix for the game, so don't expect any new content just yet. However, there is plenty to look forward to in the future.

Ubisoft recently revealed "the most ambitious expansion in franchise history". Arriving March 10th is a brand new DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, titled Dawn of Ragnarok. Players will soon be able to wield the powers of a god and journey deep into Norse mythology. For full details visit the Ubisoft website, or keep reading for the January 6 Valhalla update details.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Update 1.4.1.2 Patch Notes & Details

According to the official Assassin's Creed Valhalla Twitter account, the January 6 update fixes the following issue:

  • Resolves issues blocking players from progressing in the Yule Festival.
  • Yule Festival extended until January 27th, 2022.

Originally, the Yule Festival arrived in Assassin's Creed Valhalla on December 16th and was due to end on January 6th. Unfortunately, it was soon noted by Ubisoft that there was an issue with the event that meant certain players were unable to progress through the Yule Festival. The issue was reportedly only affecting users who had played the Yule Festival in the past.

On December 20th Ubisoft informed players that a fix for the Yule Festival issue would not be arriving until January due to the holiday season. As such, the festival has officially been extended for everyone as a way of apologising to those that were unable to partake over the festive period.

Once title update 1.4.1.2 is deployed later today, the issue will be rectified and everyone will be able to progress in the Yule Festival once more.
