Ubisoft games are notorious for their bug-ey launches and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla was not an exception.
Even the most die-hard Assassin's Creed fans can recognize that the bugs in a lot of the entries in the series are, at times, pretty in your face. Literally.
It doesn't make them bad games, in fact, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla was near the top of my 2020 Game of the Year list, it just means that they sometimes need extra care and attention. Here's the full list of hotfixes in the AC March 12 update.

Hotfix Notes
Posted to the official Assassin's Creed Ubisoft forums, today's update fixes three common bugs. Here are the notes in full:
We deployed three server-side hotfixes to address the following issues:
- Unable to proceed with Rock of Fertility world eventÂ
- Cannot interact with NPC
- Unable to proceed with The Reeve of WinchesterÂ
- Cannot interact with Goodwin after escorting him to safety
- Unable to proceed with Island of EelsÂ
- Cannot interact with Soma
If you are unable to progress with the respective quests after launching and loading the save game, please follow the below steps:
- Create a manual save
- Close the game entirely, then launch it again
- Load the created save
- You should now be able to proceed with the respective quest
Important:Â If you reload the game before proceeding with the respective quest, you'll have to relaunch the game application before being able to proceed with the quest.
Note:Â We're also working on more permanent solutions.
