As the Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ostara festival continues to rage on, Ubisoft pushed an update today, April 8.

It's always important to be up to date with the latest Assassin's Creed patches because Ubisoft spends so much time ironing out bugs and issues within the game.

It's no secret that Assassin's Creed Valhalla had its fair share of bugs, but hopefully the update from today will help smooth some of them out.

Here's everything you need to know about the Assassin's Creed Valhalla update from April 8.

The full list of patch notes from today's hotfix isn't particularly lengthy, so here they are in full:

We deployed four server-side hotfixes to address the following issues:  

Unable to proceed with Old Wounds 

• Cannot interact with Estrid 

Unable to proceed with Unholy Father 

• Cannot interact with NPC  

Unable proceed with The Thegn of Lincoln  

• Cannot interact with Aelfgar 

Unable to complete Falling Stars mystery 

• Ysane doesn’t follow the player 

If you are unable to progress with the respective quests after launching and loading the save game, please follow the below steps:  

1. Create a manual save  
2. Close the game entirely, then launch it again  
3. Load the created save  
4. You should now be able to proceed with the respective quest  

Important: If you reload the game before proceeding with the respective quest, you'll have to relaunch the game application before being able to proceed with the quest.
