During NIS America’s annual press event in San Francisco, which DualShockers attended, the publisher announced Assault Spy, an action game for PC by indie developer Wazen.

With NIS America’s support, the game will launch on Steam Early Access in May 2018.

Assault Spy is a pure action game which will set the player in the shoes of Asaru, a corporate spy set on discovering the secret of a corporation named Negabot. It includes bits of comedy, stylish gameplay, and a second side that lets you play a reckless CIA agent named Amelia. As you change characters, you’ll be able to experience a different fighting style and another angle of the story.

The announcement press release included an official presentation, that you can read below.

About the game:

Dash, evade, and smash your way to the truth as the corporate spy, Asaru! Uncover the dark secrets of the Negabot mega-corporation as you save the company from a hostile takeover. Assault Spy is a stylish, fast-paced, pure-action game with a dash of comedy.

Key Features:

  • Stylish Spy Action Comedy – Blast through an army of security robots and save a company that was taken over by terrorists!
  • High-Speed Dash Combat – Dodge bullets with a dash, and finish off enemies with fancy combo moves!
  • Dynamic Action – Defeating enemies unlocks new moves, which can be used to chain together insane combos with stylish finishing moves!
