The independent shooter Astebreed is really a great game, and today the creator, who goes by the nickname “Nal,” was a guest on ImagineNation on the NHK World TV channel.

Astebreed will be released next year on PS4 and Nal mentioned that he’s “Really Grateful to SCE for the Opportunity.”

Nal also explained┬áthat it costed him about 10 million yen (about $89,000) to create the game, but even if he didn’t make a proper calculation yet, he thinks he has recouped the investment by now.

When asked what he wants to do next, he mentioned that he would like to work on an action game.

Incidentally, Astebreed is currently on sale on Steam for $4.99.
