Today, ASUS has announced a new gaming mice into its line of Republic of Gamers gaming peripherals.

According to the manufacturer, the ROG Gladius II Origin is a wired mouse that includes an extra set of Omron switches, allowing the mouse's lifespan to double from 50-million to 100-million clicks. By adding an extra set of switches, this provides gamers with a different set of click resistance. ASUS also confirmed that the Gladius II Origin features a "push-fit" socket design, allowing players to swap out the switches at ease.

The Gladius II Origin also includes 12,000 dpi sensors, as well as two USB cables: a braided one and a rubber one, both of which are detachable. Unfortunately, the mouse is not a wired/wireless hybrid mouse; essentially the removable wire serves more as leverage for those who plan on taking the mouse with them on the go.

Additionally, the product includes five buttons on this mouse, along with a scroll wheel; two on the located on the left side of the mouse, a DPI switch underneath it, as well as the scroll wheel. On top of that, the Gladius II Origin also features RGB lighting, that can sync-up with other Aura-enabled gear thanks to the manufacturer's ROG Aura software.

The ASUS ROG Gladius II Origin is now available via Amazon for $99.99. Check out a few screenshots of the product below:
