Atari To Reboot Alone in the Dark and Haunted House For PC This Fall

Atari announced today that reboots of two classic titles, Alone in the Dark and Haunted House are coming to PC this fall. The two titles will be unveiled at this year’s PAX Prime, which takes place next weekend.

Based on the official websites, Alone in the Dark: Illumination will be handled by Pure, and Haunted House is being handled by Dreampainters, who were also responsible for Anna, published by Kalypso.

Alone in the Dark is a long-running survival horror franchise which was originally released on PC in 1992. The most recent installment of Alone in the Dark was released in 2008 for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and Wii. Haunted House was last seen on Xbox 360, Wii, and PC in 2010.
