Atelier Escha & Logy Info, Art and Screenshots Introduce New Characters

May 19, 2013

At midnight (in Japan) between Sunday and Monday Gust often behaves like the reverse-Cinderella of game development and jumps under the spotlight with a large batch of new screenshots and information. Today is no exception, and fans of Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky will be pleased.

First of all three new characters have been introduced: Micie Sun Mussemburg is a 14 years old elite from the Audit Office. He’s also a brilliant individual with excellent literary and military skills, but lacks in experience. This causes him to be a bit narrow minded at times.

Katla Larchica: the 12 years old owner of a roadside kiosk just outside the city, she’s also Escha’s friend. Her parents used to own a popular general store that went bankrupt due to mismanagement. She dreams to resurrect his family business on behalf of her family that gave up on their commercial dreams.

Solle Grumman is a 20 years old employee of the local accounting office in charge of the budget. His administration is extremely strict, and he’s known to be cold and without compassion. When he sees a mistake he doesn’t hesitate to point it out mercilessly. Despite that, he’s also very fair with those that prove themselves worthy of his trust.

On top of the character-related information and artwork we get some new screens of the collection system and on the ability to gain rare items by beating powerful monsters. We also get a few more glimpses on the ability to see the same event from the point of view of two different characters, and a couple of environment shots.

Giuseppe Nelva

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
