Atelier Ryza revealed more of its universe and facets of its protagonist Ryza and her friends in a new trailer.

The trailer mostly features Atelier Ryza's opening movie along with some in-game cutscenes sequences. The song playing is Atelier Ryza's theme song, sung by Sayaka Kanda. Atelier Ryza's theme song is titled "Niji Iro no Natsu", Rainbow-Colored Summer.

It's worth noting the video also reveals two brand new characters who seem to be the antagonists in Ryza and friends' summer journey.

Multiple gameplay sequences were also revealed on an Atelier Ryza stream held by Koei Tecmo. We've got Story Event scenes, some exploration, and more exploration but with Ryza wearing her Summer Adventure costume,  her Blue Puni T-shirt costume, and another one.

Gust also released another Atelier Ryza gameplay video on Twitter.

Lastly, Atelier Ryza's OST cover artwork was revealed as well.

Atelier Ryza was announced in May 2019, a few weeks after the launch of Atelier Lulua, the new entry in the Arland sub-series. Both games were developed roughly at the same time but by different teams part of Gust, hence why the close release dates. You can read more about that here. Koei Tecmo and Gust will be launching Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout on September 26 in Japan on PS4 and Switch. Atelier Ryza will launch a month later in the west, on October 29, for the same platforms plus Steam. The Japanese Steam version will be launching the same day too.
