Only a few days before its official launch, it seems like a recent build of Atomic Heart's PC version has been leaked online, which doesn't feature the Denuvo anti-tamper, making it quite easy for hackers to release the game in the piracy market.

According to a removed Reddit post, someone has managed to get access to a recent build of Atomic Heart and share the data online following a leak showcasing the opening minutes of the game. Mundfish Games has not officially reacted to the news yet, but it remains unknown whether the leaked build is fully finished or playable. Since the game had gone gold in late January, the leaked build may lack polish.

Atomic Heart will be available on consoles and PC next Tuesday, February 21. The game will be directly launched on Xbox/PC Game Pass, allowing subscribers to play it for free on day one. As leaked dev builds of the game could potentially harm your device by malware added by third parties, it is strongly advised that you do not download this leaked build.

Atomic Heart has been in development since 2018 at a Cyprus-based studio. Focus Interactive holds the publishing rights to the game and will release it on PlayStation consoles as well as Xbox and PC. The game is supposed to receive multiple post-launch expansions, as it currently offers a season pass in Gold and Premium editions.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Atomic Heart will aim to deliver a 4K/60FPS experience to current-gen consoles, though the developer admits it might sacrifice true 4K resolution at some points in the open-world environment to keep the frame rate constant.

As the debut title by Mundfish Games, Atomic Heart faced some controversies recently, most of them spinning around the rumor that the project has been funded by the Russian government. Even the game's music composer Mick Gordon recently announced that he decided to donate the entire fee he had received for working on Atomic Heart to the Ukrainian people.

It remains unknown how the speculation could affect the game's financial performance, but it is already the 10th most wish-listed game on Steam and the 11th top-seller game on the platform before its launch.
