Attack on Titan 2 Revealed By Koei Tecmo Coming Early 2018; Teaser Trailer Released
Koei Tecmo announced that their titan slaying-action licence Attack on Titan will receive a sequel titled Attack on Titan 2, coming 2018.
Additionally, Koei Tecmo America launched the first teaser trailer for the game, which currently doesn’t have a release platform at this time. Attack on Titan 2 will follow the events of the previous game, based off the manga and anime series of the same name, and will be developed by Omega Force (Dynasty Warriors).
From the screenshots, it’s clear that Attack on Titan 2 will take place during the second season of the anime that finished airing this year. The story takes a new turn as the premise reveals new elements about the Titans which weren’t made clear in the first season of the anime.
The first Attack on Titan game released in the west in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game featured fast action which mimicked scenes from the source material accurately. The game has characters flying through the air using the 3D Maneuvering Gear to unleash attacks on large Titan enemies that are trying to kill them.
