Attack on Titan 2 to Launch March 2018 in North America and Europe; New Screenshots

Attack on Titan 2 might not be coming until 2018 in the west, but the company released some new screenshots to hopefully hold fans over.

Koei Tecmo announced that their upcoming titan-slaying action game Attack on Titan 2 will launch in March 2018 in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Attack on Titan 2 will follow the events of 2016’s Attack on Titan. The game will feature fast action which mimicked scenes from the second season of the anime series. The game will have a total of 30 playable characters, with Christa Lenz and Ymir being the newest additions. During gameplay, players will be able to fly through the air using the 3D Maneuvering Gear to unleash attacks on large Titan enemies who are mindlessly trying to kill them.

Additionally, Koei Tecmo will livestream gameplay on YouTube later today at 20:00 JST (4:00am PST), hosted by voice actress Shiori Mikami. The release window of Attack on Titan 2 was supposed to be revealed during the stream but was accidentally posted to a press website. However, more information is teased to be mentioned during the stream as well as new characters that have haven’t been revealed.
